Welcome from the Head of School

SISB continues to make its stride in providing excellent education to students from age 2 years right through to 18 years in our Nursery & Kindergarten, Primary and Sixth Form sections. From our humble beginning in 2001, with 35 students, we now have six schools offering a variety of curricula including the blended Nursery-Kindergarten curriculum, Singapore Primary Curriculum, Cambridge IGCSE, AS and A Levels as well as the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme or IBDP. We warmly welcome students and parents to our latest campus at Rayong. Our theme for this coming academic year is “Towards a Greater SISB.” We will provide a holistic education to nurture our students as Scholars, leaders and Global Citizens in Singapore International School Rayong.

Our Environment

Students at SISB Rayong start their education from 2 years to 6 years old with the UK Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum blended with best practices from Singapore and the IB curriculum. They progress to our Singapore Primary Curriculum from 7 to 12 years of age, noted for its strength in Mathematics and Science and culminating in the international PSLE as a benchmark for excellence. Students then proceed to the Sixth Form, ages 12 to 18 years, beginning with Grade 7 and Grade 8 offering a hybrid curriculum from Singapore and the UK. For Grade 9 and Grade 10, students are prepared for the Cambridge IGCSE examinations before moving to the high school, Grade 11 and Grade 12, for the Cambridge AS and A Levels. We hope to offer the IBDP in due course as our enrollment increases. To complement our formal curricula, there are a variety of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities, the Duke of Edinburgh International Awards as well as local and overseas education programmes to nurture our students holistically, enabling them to make the world a better place.
